Time to get ready for some unusual winter months in the Hinterland!

To help us all plan for the winter months ahead, we’ve compiled a list of what’s on, what’s not and what’s changed. We’ll keep this updated on a rolling basis so please share this widely and let us know if you hear of any new listings we should include.

New Brighton Farmer’s Market – Tuesdays from 7am-11am at New Brighton Oval

Byron Farmer’s Market – Thursdays from 7am-11am at the Cavenbah Centre, Byron Bay

Lismore Produce Market – Thursday afternoons on Magellan Street, Lismore

Mullumbimby Farmer’s Market – Fridays from 7am-11am at the Showground, Mullumbimby

Lismore Farmer’s Market – Saturdays from 8am-11.30am at Lismore Showground

Bangalow Farmer’s Market – Saturdays from 7am-11am behind Bangalow Hotel


What’s not on

BluesFest – was scheduled for Easter, now cancelled until 2021, ticket holders to be advised of arrangements by Moshtix

Northern Rivers Food Harvest Festival – was scheduled for 1-10 May, now cancelled until 2021

Byron Bay Ocean Swim – was scheduled for 3 May, now cancelled until 2021

Byron Writers Festival – was scheduled for 7-9 August, now cancelled until 2021

Bangalow Monthly Markets – was fourth Sunday of each month, cancelled until further notice

Byron Bay Community Markets – was first Sunday of each month, cancelled until further notice

Byron Bay Beachside Markets – was quarterly, cancelled until further notice

The Channon Craft Market – was monthly, cancelled until further notice

Lismore Carboot Market – was fortnightly, cancelled until further notice


What’s changed

Nimbin Mardi Grass – was scheduled for 1-3 May, now postponed to a later date to be advised

RenewFest – was scheduled for 8-10 May, now postponed to 20-22 November, with all tickets carrying over

Bangalow Billycart Derby – was scheduled for 17 May, now postponed to 20 September

Primex Field Days – was scheduled for 21-23 May, now postponed to 10-12 September

Casino Beef Week – was scheduled for 23 May-2 June, now postponed to September

Splendour in the Grass – was scheduled for July, now rescheduled for 23-25 October with tickets transferred or refunded via Moshtix

Byron Bay Triathlon – scheduled for 9 May but now on hold until a new date can be advised

Bangalow Music Festival – scheduled for 13-16 August

Bangalow BBQ and Bluegrass Festival – scheduled for 28-29 August
